Behaviour happens for a reason.

A dog who barks, lunges, pulls, freezes or won’t listen isn’t being difficult. There’s something behind it.

Once you can see what your dog is communicating and what’s driving it, the decisions get easier. You stop guessing. You stop firefighting. You start seeing it coming.

Once you understand what your dog is communicating and what’s driving the behaviour, things start to click. The behaviour stops feeling so random. You stop guessing, you start recognising what your dog needs, and suddenly, for the first time you’ve got a clear way forward.

Jack helped us with both our dogs but more so Rusty with his general behaviour and also his barking at other dogs when we were out walking. Since working with Jack he is like a different dog. We’ve stopped him from barking and he will happily walk in places where there are other dogs. It is now enjoyable to take him to different places. We called Jack after our rescue dog sparky decided after 2 years he was going to attack his big brother Oakley, this was over food and the ring of the door bell. This caused us so much stress and worry as some of the incidents had been so traumatic for us, and we also had a small child to think about. After many tears at the thought of potentially having to rehome him, we decided to give Jack ago. We can honestly say it’s the best thing we did! Jack was amazing! He worked out a plan for us, he was always at the end of the phone when we needed some advice, or had a panic about a new situation. Very responsibly priced for all the hours he had put into us, so patient and given us some really great homework to do between sessions. I would recommend Jack to anyone and everyone, which I do!

Sparky is a completely different dog and back to how he was and most importantly we have all the skills to now control a situation if it was to happen and help him manage his anxiety. We would 100% use him again! We are so grateful.

My rescue springer can be a strong puller whilst on the lead, but with Jack's guidance (and patience!), I have got to the stage where I can take Elwood out for a walk and the lead is loose! When we started, Suki lacked confidence, was easily frustrated, and was more focused on distractions than on me during walks. After just five 1-1 training sessions with Jack, where I was taught several tips and techniques to encourage good behaviour, she’s transformed. She now loves running free, plays confidently with other dogs, and listens to me much better. She even understands when I ask her to calm down after a run!

I can’t recommend Jack enough for any behavioral or training challenges. His approach focuses on patience and working at the dog’s own pace, which makes such a difference. It does require effort and commitment on our part as dog owners, but the results are absolutely worth it!
